The story
After betrayal left Jayson stranded on a junk moon three years ago, he has given up on the revenge that once blinded anything else. But after a man's death ends up on his hands, Jayson realizes that the home he's left behind isn't finished with him. Now, he will stop at nothing to make his way back to the man he loved more than anything, and kill him.

star ties
We begin with Jayson in a cool spacebar, playing even cooler space pool. He’s on a junk moon called Sinaraan, the only habitable moon to his home planet, Lyro. He’s working odd jobs to try and make a life for himself and forget the past, but we all know how that goes. He’s dirt broke and can’t stop thinking about it. He’s also been getting mysterious letters, beckoning him to return to a life of rage and revenge that he swore to leave behind him.
When the letters bring him into contact with a man on the run named Emil, Jayson will realize that leaving the past dead doesn’t mean it’s buried.
Enter Znia, a girl from Jayson’s home planet who has her own agenda with him as a centerpiece. She needs Jayson for who he used to be-- the most esteemed guard to the crowned prince of Lyro, Adrianos. Their end goals might intertwine, but can they trust each other and work together? They’ll have to travel farther than either of them have ever gone to get the answers they need, and once they find what they’re looking for, regret might be the only thing left.
Can you bury your past in its own ashes? Can you kill the one person you loved more than the world?
Only time will tell.
